To operate the Services: connecting your call, matching you with a voice, remembering context between calls so you don't repeat yourself, processing payments, sending communications you've opted into, and improving safety and quality. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your conversations for advertising.
Your data is processed by the service providers that power El Roi Call, acting on our instructions: Anthropic (AI conversation), ElevenLabs (voice synthesis), Twilio (telephony), Deepgram (speech-to-text), Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (website). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Calls to and from El Roi Call are recorded and transcribed. You are informed at the start of each call, and by continuing the call you consent to recording. If you do not consent, simply end the call.
Prayer requests are stored without your name or phone number attached and are automatically deleted within 72 hours. Because they are anonymous, we cannot retrieve or delete a specific request on demand — it deletes itself.
This section applies to "consumer health data" — information you share that could identify your past, present, or future physical or mental health status, including disclosures about grief, anxiety, addiction, or other struggles made during calls or in our intake.
Collection & consent: we collect this data only when you volunteer it in the course of using the Services, and only with your consent, which you give by choosing to share it after being informed at the start of each call and on each form.
Use: solely to provide the Services (matching, conversation continuity, safety). Sharing: only with the processors listed above; never sold; never shared for advertising.
Your rights: you may request access to, or deletion of, your data (including call recordings and transcripts) at any time by emailing privacy@elroicall.com. We will confirm and act on verified requests as required by applicable law, including the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar state laws.
Call recordings and transcripts are retained while your account is active and deleted upon verified request or account closure, except minimal records we must keep for legal, billing, or safety purposes. Prayer requests auto-delete within 72 hours.
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, tokenized secrets). No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by law, including the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule where applicable.
The Services are for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
Depending on your state (including California, Washington, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of certain processing. Exercise any right via privacy@elroicall.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
